But there’s a problem with Vegas.
Finding in free parking las vegas strip isn’t as easy as it seems.
The sheer number of resorts, casinos, and entertainment venues, amd luxurious Las vegas lifestyle, result in an overwhelming demand for parking spaces. And if they find one, the fees are exorbitant to quickly eat up their budgets.
But fret not! In this guide, we’ll reveal some insider tips on how to get free Las Vegas parking. So, let’s get started!
Whether you’re heading north or south, we’ve compiled a list of places where you can conveniently self-park without hidden fees or pesky requirements, so that while you indulge in fun things in Las Vegas, you don’t have to worry about parking slots.
So, get ready to explore the Strip while keeping your budget intact. Here’s our curated collection of free parking las vegas parking strip destinations:
While exploring the Las Vegas Strip, it’s important to be aware of the varying parking policies at different locations.
You can enjoy free parking at the Fashion Show Mall during business hours, but overnight parking isn’t available.
Meanwhile, Resorts World Las Vegas currently offers free parking, but there are rumors of potential future implementation of paid parking.
The Tropicana charges a $15 parking fee for non-hotel guests attending concerts or games at T-Mobile Arena and recently introduced charges for some front-row spots.
However, self-parking in the garages remains free.
Lastly, despite its location just a block away from the Strip, the OYO Hotel & Casino provides free parking, making it a convenient option near the MGM Grand.
Surprisingly, during the COVID-19-induced slowdown, MGM Resorts maintained their provision of free parking—an unexpected development considering their previous implementation of parking fees.
However, all MGM-owned resorts, including The Mirage, NY-NY Hotel & Casino, Mandalay Bay, Vdara, and Delano, have transitioned to paid parking today.
For self-parking, both Excalibur and Bellagio charge $12 for up to four hours. For full-day parking, however, Excalibur charges $18.
The las vegas parking strip is home to eight prominent hotels operated by Caesars Entertainment.

Previously, registered hotel guests at these Caesars Entertainment properties enjoyed complimentary self-parking privileges. However, there has been a subsequent policy change, and now both guests and non-guests are required to pay for parking.
The parking fees at these Caesars resorts vary, ranging from $15 for 1-3 hours at the more affordable properties like Flamingo, to $23 for daily parking at the upscale sites such as Caesars Palace.
These prices can skyrocket during crowded holiday weekends. However, there are still two exceptions where free parking is available at these eight casinos:

These two entities own 19 out of 13 casinos on the Strip.
With this duopoly in place, there is less competition and incentive to offer free parking, favorable gambling odds, attractive restaurant deals, and even waive resort fees.
Additionally, parking fees have become a significant source of income.
According to data from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, 52% of visitors to Sin City arrive by car, translating to over 21 million visitors annually.
While not all of them need a parking spot, millions of cars still need to be accommodated at Strip casinos.
Consider the example of Luxor with 1600 parking spaces.
Even if only two-thirds of these spaces are occupied, over 1,000 parking spots are still potentially generating revenue.
By implementing a daily parking fee of $15, Luxor can generate an additional $15,000 in daily revenue, amounting to $5.4 million in annual revenue.
A similar trend is seen with the Miracle Mile parking garage, where the transition from free parking to paid parking was projected to yield $100,000 in monthly revenue, as the reputable VitalVegas blog reported.
It is evident that as long as Strip casinos can sustain these parking fees, they will continue to do so.
Casinos offer free meals, rooms, show tickets, and now, free parking to their big rollers.
Gamblers with the Pearl, Gold, Platinum, or Noir status on their M-Life player’s card receive gratis self-parking at MGM Resort hotels.
Similarly, every gambler who earns Platinum, Diamond, or Seven Stars on their Caesars Rewards card receives complimentary self-parking and valet parking at Caesars Entertainment sites.
Getting a casino credit card will elevate your standing so that, if you’re not a high roller like me, you can still park for free.
When you apply for their credit card, MGM Resorts offers a similar free parking option. Just like we do save money on Airport parking with help of coupons and cards.
The M-Life Rewards MasterCard is the official credit card of MGM Resorts. Once accepted, your status is immediately upgraded to “Pearl” (no minimum spend required).
Any MGM Resort on the Strip, including Mandalay Bay, Delano, Luxor, Excalibur, NY-NY, MGM Grand, Park MGM, NoMad Las Vegas, Aria, Vdara, Bellagio, and The Mirage, offers free self-parking to all members with Pearl status. Additionally, this card has no annual charge.
Caesars Entertainment, for instance, offers a branded credit card. As long as they make at least one transaction within 90 days of approval, everybody who applies for and gets approved for the Caesars Rewards Visa card will be promoted to Platinum.
There is no yearly charge. Anyone at the Platinum level (or higher), as we indicated earlier, is entitled to complimentary valet and self-parking.
You can therefore park for free at the following Las Vegas resorts by receiving this card (and making the necessary purchase within 90 days): Caesars Palace, Nobu inside Caesars, the Flamingo, the Linq, Harrah’s Las Vegas, The Cromwell, Bally’s Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, and Planet Hollywood.
You’d think that the increasingly high resort fees ($30+) charged by casino resorts would cover the use of a little slab of unclean concrete, but that’s not the case.
Fees are often charged to both hotel guests and visitors to the Strip. The parking fee is usually included in the hotel room bill for guests staying at Strip hotels.
Visitors to the parking garage will receive a ticket when they enter the garage and pay at a kiosk or the entrance (depending on the hotel) when they leave.
Off-Strip hotels like Sam’s Town, South Point, Red Rock, The Silverton, and others, on the other hand, still provide free parking.
Free parking is still available on the Las Vegas Strip, despite the fact that it is getting harder to locate every year. Finding free parking is well worth the extra effort.
If there is free parking available just down the street, nobody should have to pay for it. That said, paying for parking is still an option if no hotels nearby provide free parking. Just double-check in advance that there are no casinos nearby that provide free parking.
