The Two Disney World Water Parks- For Travelers

Apart from amusement parks, there are two main water parks at hand in Disney’s world. Both  of them are equally interesting but vary in features, let’s dive into the details:

    1. Typhoon Lagoon water park:

Typhoon Lagoon water park is the older park that was established in 1989. Previously, there was a water park named River Country in the place of these two parks. There are eleven attractions- including multiple slides and six dining options. Typhoon Lagoon Park has various special things to offer such as H20 Glow nights, (current opening of the year), even the surfing is taught before the park actually opens. However, the surfing classes are paid and available for visitors who age 8 and up.

Typhoon lagoon is similar to the typical water parks that you might have seen before. Sizzling sounds, sandy beaches, lush palm trees, and relaxing spots. It is sort of a private island that is perfect to spend time with your friends and family. If you have ever been to Castaway Cay, you can compare the tranquility and exoticness of it with Typhoon Lagoon Park.

  • Blizzard Bleach water park:

  • Blizzard Bleach water park is newer in the two parks, it came into view in 1995. It is not a traditional kind of waterpark but unique in its kind. It is not a simple sort of water park as there is an interesting backstory attached to it. The story is something like: Once a freak snowstorm hit Central Florida, and to retain the capitalism of the country, a new fun ski resort opened.

The resort turned out to be a water park after the snow melted. Though the story seems quite irrelevant, it makes things more fun and exciting. It is fully surrounded by snow and sand-Christmas music -tropical songs- snowmen and castles.

There is nothing similar that can be found anywhere in the world. There are twelve major attractions on Blizzard Beach Park– and various dining options such as Summit Plummet – the extreme beauty of the park
