The park is located in the Punjabi Bagh zone of New Delhi, India. It is a commendable initiative by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation and paints a beautiful picture of the Indian heritage, and that too, through a recycling endeavor.
The park stretches over a vast land measuring 8.5 acres and has used 350 tonnes of waste materials to create replicas of renowned historical monuments and temples.
The metal scraps have been collected from various municipal shops and include slivers, metal chunks, nuts and bolts, iron sheets, and iron rods. These are the building blocks of the artifacts that are made by a skilled squad of 150 people with a corporate investment of 20 crores INR.

The beautiful park displays a total of 22 monument doppelgängers. The collection contains divine temples like Dwarkadhish, Badrinath, Rameshwaram, Jagannath, Konark Sun Temple, Sanchi Stupa, Khajuraho Temple, and the sacred Banyan tree that symbolizes eternal life.
The array also extends to heritage sites such as the ‘wonders of the world’ team member Taj Mahal, the towering Qutub Minar, the royal Hawa Mahal, Mysore Palace, and Junagarh Fort, as well as the alluring Char Minar.
And that’s not all. The park also houses the metal scrap versions of the glorifying India Gate, the Gateway of India, the prestigious Nalanda University, the enchanting caves of Ajanta and Ellora, the dome of Gol Gumbaz, the serene Victoria Memorial, and primeval Hampi, among others. The mystical visual exhibit is presented using 755 façade lights, bollard lights, 3 LED screens, a CCTV, and numerous compound lights. To offer an enthralling light and sound show, the park also employs a DJ set that plays soothing tunes. Together they lay out an unreal experience for the visitors.
SDMC takes all necessary steps for maintaining the cleanliness of the place. Multiple dustbins are installed throughout the park, along with the special cleaning crew to take care of everything.
The washrooms are kept neat and hygienic for usage with a continuous water supply through the 1 lakh liter STP.
Any trip is incomplete without food. And the park knows it very well. Therefore, you will find food stalls selling a variety of cuisines of India and Delhi Street Food tidbits like Ram Laddu, Pav Bhaji, Dosa, etc. Seating arrangements in the food court are made out of unused tires, abandoned scooters, etc.

The park opens at 10 AM IST and welcomes visitors until 10 PM IST. The timing remains the same for each day. It has a weekly off on Monday, and the park remains closed on national holidays as well.

Now, about the special discounts for students on Bharat Darshan Park tickets. The students of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school do not need to pay any entry fee. They can visit the park completely free.
As for students from any other schools, they have to pay a minimal amount of INR 40, and for any adult accompanying them (like a teacher), the ticket price is INR 90/adult.
You can get the tickets from the designated counters after reaching there. Or you can book it at home from the official web portal of BDP SDMC and avoid the hassle of the queue.

When in Delhi, take the Delhi Metro. The largest metro in India, the Delhi Metro, is the safest and most preferred mode of transport.
The nearest metro station to the park is the Punjabi Bagh West Metro Station. You can take either the Pink Line or Green Line metro routes to reach there. For better direction, download the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation application, available on both the Play Store and the App Store.
After exiting the metro station, you can find many E-rickshaws to reach the park, which is at a distance of approx 1.1 km. If you choose to walk, it will take about 10 minutes to reach.
You can have some issues with parking your vehicle and may have to pay certain charges.
